Based on a true story, the animated short "Magical Cure" tells from a child's perspective the profound impact of losing family members to cancer and the hope for a cure someday soon. Winner of the Stand Up 2 Cancer film challenge. Some of the judges included: - Laura Ziskin, producer (Spider-Man, As Good As It Gets, Pretty Woman), Lauren Shuler Donner, producer (X-Men, Secret Life of Bees, Semi Pro) Greg Mottola, producer (Superbad, Arrested Development) and Julie Taymor, director (Across the Universe, Frida, Titus).
The Rogosin Institute is an independent not-for-profit treatment and research center that has been providing care to patients for fifty two years. Affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical College, The Rogosin Institute provides care for patients with kidney disease, including dialysis and transplantation, lipid disorders/high cholesterol, and hypertension. The Institute is spearheading research programs for cancer and diabetes. We worked with the Rogosin Institute to develop a series of PSA's for broadcast TV and radio that highlight the importance of good nutrition and exercise. The PSA's featured professional basketball players Ronnie Brewer of the Chicago Bulls and Kris Humphries of the New Jersey Nets.
What to Eat - the Environmental Impacts of Our Food
This short film voiced by Jason Schwartzman was part of the Plate to Planet project for Farm Sanctuary to raise awareness about the environmental impacts of factory farming. We produced the short, the expert video series and created the website from scratch.
